2016 Jamis Citizen 1

Jamis' Citizen 1 is great for getting back into shape and simply having fun on two wheels. The steel frame and fork combine with riser handlebars to give you a smooth upright ride that's easy on your neck and back. The fast-rolling road bike size wheels, reliable Shimano drivetrain, and suspension seatpost guarantee carefree comfort and confidence ride after ride. Every Citizen proves there’s nothing pedestrian about a Jamis city bike.

  • Comfortable
  • Easy to shift
  • Lightweight

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Road Biking
    • Commuting/City
    • Easy Trail Riding

    Comments:

I ride both on and off road but mostly easy trails such as the Frisco Highline Trail. It's comfortable and reliable. Easy to shift. The 700c wheels made such a diffrence compared to the last bike I had same size but smaller wheels it was like night and day. Thanks Jamis for making an afforable and dependable bike. I have already recommended it to several friends. The only thing I can say bad about the bike is the lack of shock systems. But I wouldn't go back to my old bike just for that

I test drove this bike when I took my current bike to have the gears fixed. There is no comparison between this bike and the bike I have. It does not pay to buy a cheap bike !!!! I am getting this bike today !!!!
