Jamis' Bosanova is a pleasure to ride no matter what the conditions or terrain offer. Its classy Reynolds chromoly frame and carbon fork provide a smooth, ultra stable ride. 700c Alex rims spin with efficient fluidity, and are harnessed by sure-stopping, all-weather Avid disc brakes. A 30-speed Shimano/FSA drivetrain gives you an excellent gear range to comfortably master the hills, while Selle San Marco supplies a plush saddle for all day comfort. Add in quality specs like Ritchey bars, puncture-resistant, reflective Vittoria tires and full fenders and you have a bike for commuting, training, and cruising through charity rides.
I've been riding mine for a year now, having bought it to replace my Trek 520 that had 40K miles on it. This bike is not the long-distance hauler the 520 was which is why I bought it. I'm no longer doing long trips and mostly use this around town, to go grocery shopping and for occasional 50-75 mile rides. It is agile, the brakes are great and it fits me wonderfully. I don't like the toe overlap with the front fender, but that's not a biggie. The handlebar tape is not very padded - easy to replace. My rear STI shifter was defective when purchased but Kozy replaced it at no charge under warranty, thanks. All in all this bike is a great value.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend
