Unlike bikes which can sometimes be difficult to deal with on public transit, the Glion Electric Scooter weighs only 26 pounds and folds to the size of a small suitcase. When you reach your stop, it sets up in three easy steps and in just moments, you’re ready to glide.
The Glion Electric Scooter gets its remarkable power from a 36-volt lithium ion battery — composed of the same battery cells used in laptop computers — and a potent 250-watt brushless hub motor in the rear wheel. Without chains or gears, it quietly delivers enough boost to move the average adult at up to 15 miles an hour — faster than a runner at full sprint — with a range of up to 17 miles on a full charge.
It's supported by a durable frame crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, powder coated to resist corrosion. A smooth ride and minimal rolling resistance is assured by high-technology 8-inch tires featuring a honeycomb interior developed by the military and guaranteed never to go flat. Braking is smooth and secure, with an antilock electronic brake safely located inside the rear hub.
The Glion Electric Scooter easily connects to a charger and achieves a full charge in a little over two hours. Batteries are designed to last more than 1000 cycles or almost five years of daily use.
The Glion Electric Scooter can stand up when folded, a feature that no other scooter offers. It is especially convenient when you are on a crowded public transportation -- you do not need to lay down the scooter to take more floor space than necessary.
