Though it is called the "Projekt 8," you probably shouldn't turn this bike in for the science fair. It's true, the high-tensile steel frame rides just as smoothly as lava pours out of a baking soda-and-vinegar volcano, but chances are, you'll have a hard time convincing anybody that you designed this baby yourself. There's also the matter of the slick-shifting Shimano 8-speed drivetrain and stop-on-a-dime Tektro brakes. What are you, some sort of all-condition stopping power progeny? Let's face it, the aluminum wheels and plush 28mm Kenda tires are too quick, lightweight, and durable for your teacher to buy that ruse. Maybe dig that lemon-powered light bulb back out. Yeah, that will be good.
